The Role

Chatterbox is a dynamic, fast-paced tech company with global social impact embedded at its core. We work to build technology that connects talented yet overlooked workers with opportunities in the digital economy.

We are currently focusing on providing online language learning services, and as our sales operations functions grow, we are looking for a Head of B2B Marketing to shape our sales team, scale our revenues to the next level and take the lead on expanding our global reach.

As the first marketer in our team, you will have a proven track record of building impactful brands and rapidly growing product awareness. You will be responsible for the overall B2B Marketing strategy, leading and contributing to projects that drive revenue growth. Knowledge of language learning and digital platforms will be an advantage, as will understanding the business landscape in regions experiencing fast economic development.

You will also be responsible for effectively conveying the Chatterbox story to the broader business marketplace, leveraging our unique market position, social purpose, and unmatched learning experience, and translating our sales value proposition into impactful marketing collateral, presentations, scripts, thought-leadership vehicles, and other communication sales drivers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage our B2B marketplace positioning and marketing communications for our language learning platform for professionals
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to assist business development, achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Contribute to defining a successful Product & Marketing approach
  • Champion Chatterbox’s unique purpose and crucial social impact, positioning the alignment of corporate responsibility with business needs
  • Establish key partnerships with other organizations

    Requirements:

  • Proven B2B marketing experience with global or multi-region emphasis
  • Proven track record of developing strategic and creative marketing programs and communications to reach senior business executives, generating leads
  • Proven ability to run and build a key company department, collaborating with the leadership team
  • Exceptional business and creative writer with strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to get things done
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Awareness of and appreciation for cross-cultural understanding and the importance language plays in connecting the world - strong knowledge of language learning space preferred
  • Passion for corporate social responsibility and desire to champion its cause in the context of business development
  • Experience launching new digital platforms or products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
