FoodHack is a growing community and media company for the foodtech industry. From our weekly food + tech newsletter, to our ambassador run meetups across the globe, we aim to bring entrepreneurs and enablers across the industry together and provide them with the platform to shape a better future of food.
Research and produce content focused on the FoodHack community members, speakers and ambassadors for internal publications, liaising with the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Support the Marketing & Communications Manager in the delivery of a weekly e-newsletter.
Draft and publish engaging copy and posts for the FoodHack digital channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), blog, and website.
Managing the FoodHack social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and engaging with our followers
We believe there are amazing stories in our network waiting to be discovered and shared. Your role as the marketing and communications support is to uncover these stories and bring them into the spotlight by sharing them through the FoodHack media channels.
Your job will include interacting and speaking with founders of disruptive startups, investors that are fuelling the industry growth and local ambassadors who are fostering their own communities.
What you'll do
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Impressive copywriting skills and the ability to deliver creative content for a range of platforms
Enthusiasm, passion, and a genuine interest for the field of marketing and communications
A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude towards work
Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks
A good team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of and alignment with FoodHack's vision and mission
Willingness to take over additional tasks as and when they arise
Fluency in English (native speakers preferred)
Qualification or experience in marketing, communications, or PR would be advantageous
Experience in graphic design, videography, or photography
Experience or interest in the food industry and/or startup sector
Additional European languages, particularly German or French are a plus

An initial interview with you.
An office trial day, which will consist of undertaking a set of tasks that would be typical of the work that you would do with us. Depending on the location, this day can either take place in our office or can be done from home. In this way, we want to get to know you and your way of working even better, as well as give you the opportunity to get a good idea of the work entailed.
Subsequently, the final decision will be made (if necessary an additional final discussion may be required).
